Eva M. Rivera, CP®, has been a legal assistant for over 36 years and has performed specialized legal services in probate and trusts for approximately 30 years. Eva has worked at this firm since 1995. Her efficiency and knowledge of estate planning, decedent administration, and conservatorship/guardianship proceedings provides our clients with high-quality and cost-effective delivery of legal services.
Eva obtained her Certificate in Legal Assistantship from the University of California Extension Santa Barbara, California in 1983. She is qualified by NALA – The Paralegal Association (NALA) to provide CP® (Certified Paralegal) services having obtained that status in September 1986. The use of the CP credential signifies that as a paralegal, Eva is capable of providing superior services to clients. The CP credential has been acknowledged by the American Bar Association as a mark of high professional achievement, and more than 47 paralegal organizations and numerous bar associations also acknowledge the CP credential as the definitive paralegal certification.
CP® is a registered service mark of NALA The Paralegal Association. Its use is permitted only by those who have met and maintained rigorous, national certification standards. Formerly trademarked as CLA (Certified Legal Assistant), the NALA board decided to sunset the CLA trademark in early 2019.
Jill is a Paralegal and Notary Public. She obtained her paralegal certificate from the University of California Extension Santa Barbara in 2014, and she is in full compliance with continuing education requirements pursuant to Business & Professions Code section 6450(d). Jill enjoys working in our dynamic office and assisting clients with their estate planning needs. Outside of work, Jill values spending time with family and friends, walking her little dog, and riding her bike on sunny days.
Maricela began her legal career in 1995, working for attorneys in various fields of law such as personal injury, medical malpractice, and estate planning. Maricela also worked in the funeral business for several years as an office manager and really enjoyed assisting families through those difficult times. Realizing the importance of estate planning, Maricela returned to this type of law and began working for Theresa McConville in 2015 as a Legal Clerk/Administrative Assistant, Notary Public and in assisting with translation for our Spanish speaking clients. Maricela is an avid lover of music, art and enjoys spending time with her pets. Maricela is a life long resident of Ventura County.
